In 1933, Masunaga Optical created optical frames in honor of the Emperor of Japan. The frames, into which ancient craftsman have put their souls, are now reborn with a modern essence and with the most advanced technology.
The GMS frames are fashioned from the world's first welding technology using pure titanium and solid 18 karat gold. The frames are perfectly balanced, making the most of the weight of solid gold at the temple end. Every feature in the frames confirms what Masunaga has done in the past century and intends to continue in the coming one hundred years.
The GMS frames are now available in a Beta-titanium version.
