TOKI Eyewear
TK8602-35
In 1905, Masunaga Optical planted the seeds of the optical industry in Fukui Prefecture, Japan. The company's founder, Gozaemon Masunaga, brought skilled craftsmen from Tokyo and Osaka and created a system where they could operate from independent workshops. By 1911, there were thirteen factories in Fukui Prefecture, and today 90% of all domestic optical frames are made in this area. Fukui is one of the world's three major manufacturing regions for optical frames, and has the largest production of metal frames.

The company mission statement that has sustained Masunaga Optical during the past century is simply "to make the best possible product at any cost. Of course we aim to be profitable, but Masunaga has always been prepared to accept a temporary reversal when quality is at stake."

Masunaga Optical, the parent company of Masunaga Group Inc., dba Eyewear, entered the North American market in 2000, and was immediately recognized for its quality and craftsmanship in product. The recognition of Masunaga throughout Europe and Asia is becoming equaled in the United States as Eyewear.

We now design and produce optical frames for the European, Asian, and American markets. We continue to develop designs to meet new needs, but we guarantee one thing will remain constant: "Masunaga Quality."
